LIVE AT PATCH

Featuring

Martin Hathaway - Sax

 Ed Parr - Trombone

 Simon Brown - Piano

 Simon Wood - Double Bass

 Tom Jiggins - Drums

The quintet will play music from the Charles Mingus record 'Ah Um' released in 1959 with classics such as 'Better get it in your soul' and 'Goodbye porkpie hat' in the first set as well as originals and sophisticated arrangements of jazz standards in the second set. Some of the musicians from the quintet are local to Colchester and this is a wonderful opportunity to see this quintet at a intimate venue of just 40 seats fresh from a sold out show in Norwich. An event surely not to be missed!

Patch bar will be open with a selection of local beers, lovely wine, soft drinks and light bites. We are asking ticket holders who wish to eat to arrive at 6.30pm, secure your table & get your orders in. There will be three main dishes;

Leigh-on-Sea bitter & cheddar Welsh Rarebit, house made Hash Brown Stack & our Chickpea Fries Stack, with starter and dessert options too.

If you are not eating please arrive at 7pm; you can however still order food until 8.30pm.

See you there!
